Kaz is an avid supporter of local and international independent women's music, and brings to you each Saturday a collection of songs from an array of musical genres. You'll hear a little bit of the blues, country, folk, pop, rock and even a wee smidgeon of jazz

Most weeks Kaz brings in a guest for a chat and a live song. In the past these have included Liz Stringer, Cyndi Boste, Kavisha Mazzella, Milk, Jen Cloher and Ruthie Foster

There is always a spotlight on an international artist, with three songs and a short bio. These have included Patty Griffin, Laura Viers, The Dresden Dolls, Nicole Atkins and Martha Wainwright

With a commitment to bring at least one new artist to the play list each week, she's forever on the internet searching for great music to bring to Joy listeners

Wherever possible Kaz asks her guests to bring in a cd to give away to a lucky Joy member, so it's always worth your while tuning in!
