Skin Cancer and Sun Protection

Uncategorized

Summer is well and truly underway. Our LGBTI communities are getting out in the sun for the festival season. SunSmart’s Justine joins Cal Hawk in the studio. They talk through sun protection, who’s at risk of skin cancer, and how you can continue to care for you skin.

Before that, Cal talks to Steven Farley-Odgers, one of the newest board members of Thorne Harbour Health. They discuss Steven’s involvement with the community-controlled organisation and reflect on where we’re going in addressing the health and overall wellbeing of our LGBTI and PLHIV communities.

For more information on sun protection, including the free SunSmart app, head to: www.sunsmart.com.au
