Belle Zipper joins Lisa Daniel on Word for Word

Belinda Zipper

Lisa Daniels speaks with Belle Zipper. For many of us being diagnosed with a significant degenerative and incurable medical condition at age 44 would challenge us in ways we’ve never before been challenged. But Belle (Belinda) Zipper had a different experience to most – it became a huge turning point in her life, which saw her finally live true to herself and let free the feelings she had suppressed for her whole life.

As she journeyed through the stages of visits to GPs and neurologists and various medical tests, Belle (who was then known as Ben) had a dream where she was living as a female and the diagnosis became the impetus she needed to start to live life as her true self.
