Mark Gevisser, author of The Pink Line: Journeys Across The World’s Pink Frontiers, has asked that exact question. Aside from proposing a theory of the “have’s versus the have-not’s” in LGBTI rights, the book also follows the lives of a variety of LGBTI people and their different experiences as they negotiate The Pink Line.
