JOY sponsor Virgin Australia have some big news to share, they today hosted their inaugural Melbourne to Hong Kong flight. Shortly before passengers left the departure lounge to board for their Hong Kong bound journey, Saturday Magazine’s David (Macca) McCarthy was joined on the line, from the event, by Virgin Australia CEO John Borghetti and David Flynn from Australian Business Traveler.
The pair spoke up the benefit of the new service they say will not only better competition for Australian’s choosing to fly the route but lift the standard of travel for those who choose to fly Virgin.
Macca also took the opportunity to thank Virgin Australia, for their ongoing support of JOY 94.9 as a sponsor and asked why it was important for companies like Virgin to not only support JOY but also the LGBTI community more broadly.
