Welcome to a GAY GAY GAY Touch Of Pink. 2 hours chock of Gays and Lebians (85%) and their Divaz (15%). It’s cutting edge dancepop, indietronica, call it what you like, it’s the best of the best (in my opinion) from all over the world.

It’s a pretty gay show, but then what would you expect with Bright Light X 2, Boy George, Erasure, Marc Almond, Melissa Etheridge, Tegan and Sara, Mika etc on the playlist, and starting with the hunkiest gay cowboy in the whole US of A.

Single Of The Week is “She keeps me warm 2013” by Mary Lambert. This is the song bit from Macklemore & Lewis’ Same Love song, now released as a song in itself. This is such a sweet video to accompany the song, and she’s a lesbian. Who knew?

What Have We Seen ThIs Week ?

Theatre : Diavolo Dance Company : You’re too late, they’ve left, but this was an amazing show. The first half was an urban landscape in skate park, but the second half was set of a moving boat like structure,. Lots of movement and jaw-dropping dance/acrobatic moves. I have put a short video below to give you some idea of the content.

Film : The Book Thief : We were a little late getting round to this, but it was actually very entertaining. Set during the coming to power of the Nazi’s and WW2, it was about a German family taking in a young girl, and then hiding a young Jewish man in their basement. The drama and humour centred around the family. It was beautifully handled and the Nazi scenes were handled briefly and without making the film too depressing.

Film : Le Week-End : This was a feel good British movie starring Jim Broadbent and Lindsay Duncan as a middle aged couple going to Paris for a week-end to celebrate their 30^th wedding anniversary. Naturally, nothing goes as planned, there is much soul searching and shouting as they try to decide whether they want the marriage to continue. Fortunately there is a happy ending and on the journey there are lots of walks along Parisian streets and lots of visits to French restaurants and café’s. Gorgeous.
