What have I seen lately?

FILM : The Drop: This turned out to be a pleasant surprise, and intelligent gangland movie. Set in Brooklyn in a local bar, with plans to rob a large ‘drop’ of cash, it focused on a few key players, all excellent actors, and a low-key but engrossing plot. Worth considering.

FILM : My Old Lady: Part What stared out as a man trying to occupy an apartment he had inherited from his father, quickly turned into an intense family drama as events twisted and turned. I had expected a light feel good film, but the change in tone worked well, and the plot turns were at times devastating. Another excellent movie.
