Been There Done That

8 Apr 2015

Extra hour, Blood moon, Ryan White, Britain, Anniversaries

Gay, History, Icons, Lesbian

On this Easter Monday, we chat about the end of daylight saving this summer and the total moon eclipse, as well as the haemophiliac, Ryan White who acquired HIV through a blood transfusion.

We go British and chat about the arrival of bananas into Britain and the casting of the Big Ben Bell in the Clock Tower of the Palace of Westminster.

Anniversaries include the sailing of the Titanic on its ill-fated voyage, the Spotswood Sewer disaster, the first toll road in Australia and the anniversary of the death of El Greco on 7 April 1614 whose son had 2 fathers. How modern!

Plus some trivia and mirth …..
