We’ve got Phil on the phone again and he tells us about the life of Microsoft’s Internet Explorer browser & Windows 95 operating system.

We mention the positivity at the AFL Pride Football Match. We talk about the Census and the ‘average Australian’ as depicted on TV, and we recall how in 1963 the indigenous members of Yirrkala presented their petition to the Federal Government regarding the ownership rights to their traditional lands.

We remember Renee Richards, the famous ophthalmologist & tennis player who transitioned gender, becoming a pioneer for trans-rights. Also Gene Roddenberry, a screenwriter and producer who created the iconic SciFi series Star Trek.

Locally, we examine the life and work of Dennis Altman – author of “Homosexual – Oppression & Liberation” and 12 other books exploring sexuality & politics, in USA and Australia.

Lastly we talk about the Montgolfier brothers who designed the first functional hot air balloons.

Plus some trivia, mirth and much more ….
