Morrison, Wilson and Music – amazing parts of Emma Pask’s musical career

Emma Pask

Emma Pask was discovered at a school concert gig by multi-instrumentalist and entertainer James Morrison – a week later Emma was invited to tour with the James Morrison Big Band – and the rest is history!

Hear Emma talk about that amazing experience and much more in this podcast from Bent Notes, including Trombone player, arranger and band leader Ed Wilson, the necessity to get on with achieving items off your bucketlist without undue delay, performing with wonderful musicians, all with a main aim of making everyone happier.

Emma will be performing standards from the great American Songbook, with some raucus Blues and Latin feels too – with pianist Grant Windsor, Sydney drummer Tim Firth and bass player Harry Morrison (son of James and someone who Emma used to babysit when he was young) at The Count’s at Monash University on Saturday October 28, 2023

Emma Pask was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday October 22, 2023
Bent Notes – 2 hours of Jazz and Improvised Music – 7 o’clock Sunday nights
