This week is part one of BROAD’s Women of JOY special! Sonja and Jacqui are joined in the studio by Ruby Susan and Delsi Moleta. Ruby is one-third of the team on JOY’s brand-new bisexual show, Triple Bi-Pass, and a news presenter on The Informer.
Delsi hosts Unicorn Youth, JOY’s LGBTQIA youth program, and runs the Unicorns queer party which will be on next in November. These cool, queer and kick-ass women tell us about what they do at JOY and their experiences as feminists.
And Sonja interviews Ruth Borgobello, director of The Space Between, the first film to be officially co-produced both by Australia and Italy. Ruth talks about cinema as an art form and being a woman in a male-dominated workplace. You’ll be able to see it at the Italian Film Festival from September 16!
