Danielle Hakim from the Women’s Mural Documentation Project. The Women’s Mural has been an iconic feature on Hodgkinson Street and Smith Street in Clifton Hill since 1986. Danielle and Sally are co-conveners of the Women’s Art Register, and they need your help! If you have photos, ephemera, contacts or even memories that could help them document the history of the mural, please get in touch!
It’s also part two of BROAD’s Women of JOY special! Michelle Sheppard and Gina Lambropoulos from
Family Matters have gotten on board with BROAD, chatting to Sonja and Jacqui about what they do at JOY. Gina is also the writer/producer of The Escape Hatch, a queer romantic comedy currently doing the rounds in short film festivals worldwide.
