‘Rachel, Jo and Whisk and Key Records presents….

United Grrrls To The Front – Grrrls Against Domestic Violence, a fund-raising event for Georgina Martina Women’s Refuge

Sexual harassment and violence has no place at shows. In light of recent events within our music community, as well as the #ittakesone campaign by Camp Cope and Poison City Records, we, in partnership with Whisk & Key, have been inspired to put on two shows over two nights that aim to raise money for the Georgina Martina Women’s Refuge – a charity that assists survivors of domestic violence.

We wish to thank the bands who are donating their time for this cause, as well as the venues and everyone else involved in helping us raise awareness towards violence against women, not only in the music community, but at home and every day in any place at any time. We would also like to thank Ada, Sarah Thommo, Lara, Jess, Natalia, Alicia, Mylo and Lisa for their input towards the event. We hope you are able to make it to at least one giggo and have a great time listening to amazing women play in safe spaces.

United we stand, make shows safe.

The organisers acknowledge that this event takes place on the land of the Wurundjeri Tribe of the Kulin Nation ‘
