BROAD: National Bird, Choctober, and Les Blondes

Sonja interviews Sonia Kennebeck, director of National Bird: Drone Wars. The film tells “the dramatic journey of three whistleblowers who are determined to break the silence around one of the most controversial current affairs issues of our time: the secret U.S. drone war.” Through her film Kennebeck looks at the impact of drone warfare on the people of Afghanistan, and calls for transparency and international regulation of drones as weapons of war. You can see it at ACMI from October 14th to 17th, and the full interview is available as a podcast here.
