Welcome to the all new and improved Checkpoint! Critical Hit is no more, as the team go back to a very important topic, discussing LGBT representation in video games! There has been a recent controversy regarding the inclusion of a transgender character in the recent Baldur’s Gate expansion, Siege of Dragonspear, so we discuss the implications of this, with the assistance of the fabulous Liam Esler, who worked on the actual development team! Liam is also the co-Director of GX Australia and provides some great insight into the games industry from a development perspective.

On top of that, one major review this week as Luke challenges himself over and over and over again with Dark Souls 3. We also talk the news of the week with Gears of War 4 getting a release date, Australian-made Hand of Fate 2 announced and some rumors going around about Fable Legends after its unfortunate cancellation earlier this year! It’s all here on the first episode of your favourite re-branded gaming show… Checkpoint!!
