Mini Pod – The Chicks chat with Jordyn Allen (Collingwood AFLW)

Fi and Sasha caught up with Jordy Allen from the Pies about being named in the All Australian squad this year, the strong performance against the Bulldogs at Victoria Park in the first round of finals and some of the preparation the team will be doing in the lead up to the semi-final game against the Adelaide Crows in Adelaide.

Jordy Allen is a strong leader, she previously captained Vic Country in the 2018 Under-18 Championships and was also a member of the AFL Women’s Academy that same year. Allen impressed down back in her debut season in 2019, and has continued her upward trajectory over the past few seasons. She also offers great versatility, able to spend time both up forward and down back credit to her medium build and read of the footy. It was a pleasure to chat with her after a stellar season!
