INTERVIEW: Ken MacKenzie-Forbes about the Production Company 2018 Season – Subscriptions Now OPEN!

Davis & Sue talk to Ken MacKenzie-Forbes who is the Artistic director of The Production Company which celebrating 20 years in 2018.

He talks about the 2018 season which includes Oklahoma, The Boy From Oz and A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder. Subscriptions are now open via The Production Company website.

They describe the new season as below:

Celebrate 20 years of The Production Company in 2018 with three of the best musicals!

The season begins in May with Helpmann Award winners Simon Gleeson and Anna O’Byrne in the Rodgers and Hammerstein masterpiece, Oklahoma! The star studded cast includes: Elise McCannBobby FoxRobyn NevinBen Mingay and Richard Piper.

In August, celebrate 20 years of Australia’s favourite musical, The Boy from Oz. Rohan Browne and Caroline O’Connor star in the dazzling, funny and moving story of legendary Australian entertainer, Peter Allen.

In October Mitchell Butel gives a tour de force performance, playing eight members of one crazy family in the Australian premiere of A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder, the Tony Award winning comedy. Also starring Chris Ryan (King Kong), Amy Lehpamer (DUSTY), Genevieve Kingsford (Brigadoon) and the legendary Nancye Hayes (Funny Girl).
