Welcome to Game On! A new sport show on JOY 94.9 on every Tuesday from 7-8pm.

This show is all about you and how you can get your game on! It’s about presenting you with stories of where sport is fun, safe, inclusive and welcoming for everybody in the Rainbow community, and where you can be your authentic self. We’ll also set you up for sporting success by covering nutrition, fitness and mindset so you can make an impact on the track, on the field, on the court, on the pitch and on the podium across Australia and even around the world!

On the show tonight, we are joined by Coach Daddy – Sam Dengate – Founder and Head Coach – T Generation Gyms to talk about inclusive coaching. As the winner of the 2023 Pride In Sport Inclusive Coach of the Year Award who better to give us some guidance! Sam was also instrumental in creating Australia’s first Trans/Non-Binary Powerlifting Competition, called The Trans Takeover, with 30 competitors attending the inaugural event! National Program Manager – Pride In Sport talks us through how Aussie sport is tracking on the journey to becoming more inclusive and shares the next exciting initiative – a national summit – in leading LGBTQ inclusion excellence in Australian sport with our national sporting bodies. Judeland Antony, Defender and member of the mighty Richmond Tigers Wheelchair Football team in the Victorian Wheelchair Football League shares his love for the sport, how you can get involved and we celebrate the 2nd annual Pride Round that was held last Sunday. (Starts at 32 minutes)
