Kate Gill, Co-Chief Executive, Professional Footballers Australia (PFA) , the players’ union and former Matilda’s captain joins us to talk what’s next for the Matildas, how we can support current and future Matildas and what the heck is happening with Spanish football which is in crisis? KissGate as it is now called where an unsolicited kiss planted on the mouth of Spanish footballer Jennifer Hermoso by Spanish Football Federation president Luis Rubiales at the 2023 Women’s World Cup award ceremony is a watershed moment in women’s sport. We are joined by Mark Brayshaw, Managing Director, Levin Health providing insights into the benefits of medicinal cannabis as an effective treatment for managing sports injuries, stress and sleep. Why? Rainbow community member Andrew Steers President of the Perth Rainbow Swans, LGBTIQA+ inclusive masters swimming group in Perth asked me to! He has ruptured his shoulder playing mixed netball and was inspired by the story of Australian basketball great Lauren Jackson who made a stunning comeback from injury aged 41 stating it was thanks to medicinal cannabis. Let’s see if we can get Andrew back on the court shouting ‘if you need?” (Starts 12:45)

Dion Alexander, AFL Pride Collective and Mr Gay Pride Australia 2022 joined us to encourage everyone to get on board, join the 12 members of the AFL Pride Collective and sign the change.org petition to the AFL to eradicate homophobia and make AFL safe and inclusive. There are four calls to action including a men’s pride round by 2026. Be part of something special! (Starts 23:14)

Camille Claudino, Artistic Swimming Coach / Development Officer Synchronised Swimming WA joins us to talk us through where you can have a go in an inclusive environment and how to rock a nose peg.
