Word of Mouth: navigating community health

Doing LGBTI Health Differently, Mental Health and Suicide Prevention

Presenter: Samar Haidar, ACON

This presentation will look at the innovative engagement approaches that were undertaken by ACON’s Alcohol and other Drugs team that lead to a comprehensive communication strategy to re-engage Lesbians and same sex attracted women that have seen ACON as traditionally being a gay men’s service. A mix of social media, direct engagement and printed resources that became Word of Mouth.
