We’re all too aware of the current climate towards drag performers specifically in relation to storytime events. In light of some councils cancelling events surrounding IDAHOBIT (International Day of Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersex Discrimination and Transphobia), a group of drag entertainers have come together and are creating a virtual storytime event, Story time is for Everyone.
Melbourne based drag king Freddie Merkin joined Rach & Dean on JOY Breakfast to tell them all about it, and how you can share in the fun where ever you may be on May 17th as long as you have Zoom.
Storytime is for Everyone is taking place online on IDAHOBIT, Wednesday May 17th at 4pm AEST.
