Less than 5% of Australians eat the recommended serves of fresh produce each day. At first I was surprised by this figure but then I thought – I often buy pre prepared meals and slip in the odd takeaway so maybe it’s not so surprising after all.
One way of increasing the amount of veggies you consume is to throw them all in the juicer and drink them in one hit. But is this ok and do we still receive the same amount of nutrients?
