Brazen Hussies is a documentary about the bold women who kick-started the Women’s Liberation Movement in Australia in the 60s &. 70s.

Coproducer Andrea Foxworthy joined Robbie & Dean on MAD Wednesday to talk to us about the documentary and the fundraisers they are running this week for the films completion.

The story of Brazen Hussies has never before been told comprehensively on film. Many of the women who will feature are now elderly and the team behind the film are passionate about recording their stories of one of the greatest social movements of the 20^th century while they still can.

This documentary celebrates their legacy, recognises their important (and largely unknown) role in Australian history and will remind a new generation that small individual acts can create great social change AND do all this in an irreverent and engaging way.
