Rad Mitic represents Australia at the 11th Mr Gay World

Right now Rad Mitic is in Capetown South Africa, representing Australia in the Mr Gay World Competition, literally weeks after winning his title as Mr Gay Pride Australia at the Chillout Festival in Daylesford.

Dean and Robbie from MAD Wednesday got on the phone with Rad to find out how this year competition was going only to discover that some of things they have had to do are really REALLY hard!

The competition challenges involve panel interviews, LGBTI written test, campaign presentation, social media campaigns, sports challenge and a national costume event… do we think Rad will dress up like a kangaroo or an echidna?

This is the 11th year of the Mr Gay World Competition and even though Rad is doing everything he can to not only represent himself and his country, but to be a strong advocate for our communities as he discusses his cause, suicide within the LGBTIQ community, an issue very close to his heart after a number of his friends have taken their own lives in the past few years, there is actually something we can do as well.

20% of the final tally of his score is down to public voting, and guess what, you can vote ten times per day, so what are you waiting for, head to this link and vote for Australias’ RAD!
