You might be ready to enjoy an Easter long weekend rest, but the work doesn’t stop bringing you Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix.

Ben Davidson debuted on JOY with The Chain and he’s back with a great new single. ‘Fallin’ In’ is the latest from this out-and-proud Brit – we think you’ll want to belt out that chorus every single time you hear it.

The first time David Guetta and Sia got together to make music, they produced a multi-platinum-selling classic. They’ve teamed up again to deliver ‘Flames’. Everything these two put their fingers on turns to gold, and there’s no doubt that this will burn the chart up too.

Sydneysider Thandi Phoenix caught the attention of the local music scene with her 2017 release Standing Too Close. She backed it up by singing with Pete Tong and the Heritage Orchestra during their Australian ‘Ibiza Classics’ tour. Now she’s teamed up with some British producers to create a total banger. With a trademark Rudimental sound and packed with horns and a driving back beat, My Way should be the song that propels Thandi from local fave to international star. We reckon you’ll be loving it as much as we do.

You can always be assured of a party-ready gem after British production team Cahill get their hands on a song. One of the team, Anton Powers, has been very successful making dance-ready music on his own. His latest single, ‘Heart for Sale’, is no different, but with the Apollo edit, it becomes the type of song that you’d throw your hands in the air for at an Easter day party. Get ready to dance!

It’s been 20 years since Christine Anu played Mimi in the Australian premiere run of RENT. Since then, she has performed at the Olympics, has been a judge on Popstars Live, and has become a presenter on ABC Local Radio. Now, she teams up with out-and-proud singer Greg Gould to cover one of the songs from that major musical. ‘Without You’ is dedicated to those who live with HIV, with the video designed to demonstrate how medical advances have changed their lives. Brisbane lad Jordan Thompson, aka Buzz William, has given it a dance touch and we reckon it’s a perfect fit for JOY.
