Turning your pets into…Springstars!

Society & Culture

Spring is here and she’s not holding back! There’s been a great vibe in the air with the recent warming of temperatures putting a spring our steps and smiles on our faces.

Last week it was all about getting out the feather duster and prepping your home to be a happy and healthy environment for your pets during the warmer months.

Today on the program though, I’ll be looking at pet care in spring.

Also coming up on Pets-A-Loud:

  • Going to the groomer is not just about good looks for your pets, there are many health benefits that are particularly important during warmer weather. We’ll hear from Denise our dog groomer at the Frank Samways Veterinary Clinic,
  • We’ll be jumping on the pests before they jump on your… pets by looking at treatments and how to use them [hahah did you get tongue tied!!:)],
  • Spring is not only a busy time for us at the Lost Dogs Home, but also Wildlife Victoria. We hear from Lee Ferraro about the types of emergency calls they receive and what you can do to help protect Australian wild life,
  • And, we also have a question from a new fur mum who is trying to settle in her adopted cat.
