As many members of the LGBTQIA+ community know, a safe and inclusive workplace can change their life.
That’s what the Pride in Practice Conference is all about – showcasing best practice for creating an inclusive workplace where all LGBTQ+ people can thrive.
On this special 2021 Pride in Practice Conference podcast, our host Jordan will be chatting to two of Australia’s biggest companies who have large workforces in metropolitan, regional and rural Australia – Coles and Woolworths.
Some see them as competitors, but when it comes to the issue of LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion they’re both doing incredible things to help make their workplace inclusive for everyone and have collaborated on many initiatives.
From Coles, Jordan will be chatting to Genevive Hawkins and Robert Moore.
And from Woolies, he’ll be chatting to Nic Hennessy and Josh Suli.
They will be sharing how they have helped to create a space where marginalised communities, and particularly those employees who are not based in a city location, can feel safe and supported.
Remember, the 2021 Pride in Practice Conference runs from the 22nd to the 24th of November.
