In The Mardi Gras

We are in Sydney at 2SER to deliver our Mardi Gras broadcast with Macca and Kyle Minall. A great show this week with Penny Sharp, Labor Candidate for Newtown,  and Alex Greenwich, Independent member for Sydney to kick things off.  Mike Ebeid from SBS join us agin as SBS Digital took our broadcasts from JOY for 48 hours.

Paul Savage from Mardi Gras calls in to pay us a visit as we prepare for the big parade and Macca shares  his assault story from 1978, a marked difference to todays event.

Anton Enus, SBS newsreader and out and proud gay man tell us what Mardi Gras is to him and Julia Zemiro is aboard the Eurovision float.

Mel Tandy, chair of the ANZ Pride Network gets us financial with the GAYTM in Daylesford and while we are on the big banks, Stephen Barrow from NAB chats about the Pride game being played as part of the NAB Challenge. SBS buff film buff Mark Fennell gives us some queer movie picks for those staying home throughout he Mardi Gras weekend, and our own Emily Dwyer shared the challenges of bringing the broadcast together in another city, another state and with stakeholders like SBS Digital and 2SER.
