Committed to enhancing the well-being of young people, Kate actively contributes to the Walkern Katatdjin project, serving as a vital member of the youth advisory group since its inception. Beyond academics, Kate engages in youth mentoring and facilitates workshops on decolonial practices and cultural safety training, showcasing a dedication to empowering youth and fostering cultural awareness.
