In this week’s St Patrick’s Day special, Caz discussed the Irish influences on the sci-fi and horror genres. In films, Caz talked about the Leprechaun series of slasher films and Isolation, a 2005 Irish horror film. In literature, Caz discussed American author Karen Marie Moning, whose Fever series of books is set in Dublin, and the poem “The Ghost of Roger Casement” by Irish poet W.B. Yeats. Sonja interviewed Victorian writer Amy McDonald about her ghost story set in Thailand, Guest House, and her dystopic climate change story, Credits.
