This week on Sidelined, Soupy, Demetra and Jacs kick off the show joined by Chris Paouros – Co-founder and Co-Chair of the Proud Lilywhites – Tottenham Hotspur’s official LGBTQ+ supporters group. (2:40) Congratulations are in order for winning the Football v Homophobia Supporters Group Award! Working in partnership with Chelsea Pride, these two incredible community sporting groups affected change with the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) last year classing a chant as a homophobic slur and stating fans singing it during matches were committing a hate crime. 

Soupy shares another Health Tip of the Week followed by a rather unhealthy Soupy’s Surprising Sport! The Beer Mile World Classic!

In Demetra’s Drama, we are joined in the JOY94.9 Studio by Cat Hoang, Pride Ambassador and Organiser of Melbourne University Soccer Club’s All Gender Games Series.At the heart of these games is the desire to build social connection and community, and create a space where everyone can engage with sport joyfully.
