Let’s keep a light on HIV – Aids Memorial Event

To honour and celebrate an important part of the GLBTI calendar  – International AIDS Candlelight Memorial (in association with Living Positive Victoria), Michelle had the MC for the event Michael Dalton and one of the guest speakers, Cath Smith.

Both Michael and Cath discussed  their roles for the event and also the reasons why their involvement was so important to them. Stigma and discrimination were raised as 2 of the biggest issues facing people living with HIV/AIDS, and Cath described some sad but true personal experiences.

Michael, as you would expect, added a little levity to the show….which we all welcomed.
