Sunday Arts Magazine: Kitan Petkovski

Introducing special guest on this episode of Sunday Arts Magazine, the award-winning Kitan Petkovski.

Born in Macedonia and brought up in Auckland, New Zealand, Kitan started in the Arts as a young performer. He successfully auditioned for a play when he was seventeen years of age. This is what gave him the foundation, the framework, to continue with a career in theatre.

Learn about Kitan’s background and his new play THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE through this moving interview.

For which play did he audition when a teenager? Why did he move away from acting and consider directing? When did he move to Australia and why did he choose Melbourne?

What is THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE about? How did Kitan come across this particular play? Has he been involved in other plays? All this is revealed in this episode of Sunday Arts Magazine making this really worth a listen.

THINGS I KNOW TO BE TRUE will be staging at Theatre Works in St Kilda from 19th April – 4th May.
