Christian & Gala Talk the complex and colourful relationship between sex work and art- the portrayals of sex workers by some classic masters as well as discussing some fabulous sex worker artists.

Part of tonight’s discussion on Sex Work & Art: We’ll look at classical masters who clearly loved sex workers. Art has a unique opportunity to not only reflect current cultural perspectives of sex work but also act as a document of how these change over time. On the Vixen Hour tonight, we’ll compare Titian’s “Venus of Urbino” (1538) with Manet’s “Olympia” (1863).
