Ursula Yovich

Ursula Yovich – actress, singer and playwright – talks about her career, discovering her voice, the creative process, and her work on Man With The Iron Neck. Ursula grew up in the Northern Teritory and is of Serbian and Aboriginal background.  As well as a Helpmann Award winner, she is also well-known for her TV roles in Redfern Now and Gods of Wheat Street.

Music in this episode includes Waiting by young and deadly musician Kian and three other songs by Ursula: I Am Just A Child (written for her siblings), Without You (a break-up song), and Pieces (written about her mother and performed live in the studio).
