The Rev. Joy Etwell Joins Dean Beck as co-host of Word For Word.

For 30years the world has been consumed by an epidemic. Relentless in its insidious proliferation; indiscriminate in its choice of host and unpredictable in its life-threatening manifestations.

The devastation it has already had on the human species is unquantifiable. But it is the effect that HIV is yet to have, that collectively frightens scientists, academics, health professionals and society alike.

On a global scale, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis and an ever increasing array of mutating viruses, are doing what they are designed to do….survive and replicate….and kill.

Fortunately for us, today’s guests continue to fight the battle of the Microbial Wars on our behalf. Deep in the trenches, attacking homo-sapien-sap-suckers, our guests are on the front line and like all battles, you win some…and you loose some.
