The Man Who Saved Midsumma – Melbourne’s GLBTIQ Festival

Arts, Health, News & Politics, Society & Culture

Today you’ll meet a man who has achieved the impossible….he has managed to build a successful arts, events and entertainment business that works harmoniously with the GLBTI community….
Where committees, boards, volunteers and key stake holders have failed – he has managed to engage, enroll, produce, execute and build….

He has worked on projects for the Prime Ministers Department – projects like the Global Cultural Diversity Conference, and the Aboriginal Reconciliation Convention.
He has worked on sporting projects including One Day Cricket tours and game day entertainment for the AFL
And he has event worked on the Opening and Closing ceremonies of the Sydney Olympic Games in 2000.

His current client list includes the Movember Foundation, Genie Pratt’s Production Company, Victoria’s State Schools Spectacular, and the inaugural Melbourne Caberet Festival held a few months ago.

But it is the respect he has garnered from Melbourne’s Gay & Lesbian Community for saving and resurrecting our annual arts and cultural celebration – Midsumma – that really sets him apart….
