Vietnam: On the verge of same-sex marriage

There is a lot of talk about the possibility of Vietnam becoming the first country in Asia to legalise same-sex marriage.

It is possibly the country with the highest level of support for same-sex unions in the Asia-Pacific.

Is it possible for a country to allow same-sex weddings, without permitting same-sex marriage?

How are parents helping to break down barriers in this family oriented society?

To understand gay life in Vietnam, we spoke with Huy The Loung from iSee – the Institute for Studies of Society, Economics and Environment in Hanoi.
