Johann ‘Yogi’ Willenders and Lawrence ‘Husky’ Huskinson, owners of Random Soul Recordings, are based in Sydney and occasionally take time off from managing their artists to step into the production studio themselves. Their latest foray, ‘Wonderland’, with a remix from Sydney producer Avon Stringer, kicks off our new music this week.

Dutch DJ-producer Martin Garrix is still riding high after his recent worldwide smash hit, ‘In the Name of Love’ with Bebe Rexha, and he’ll be on tour in Australia in March supporting Justin Bieber. Right now, though, he’s teamed up with English singer-songwriter Dua Lipa for ‘Scared to Be Lonely’ – another surefire hit.

Multi-platinum-selling songwriting and production team Captain Cuts – responsible for Walk the Moon’s ‘Shut Up and Dance’ – have teamed up with Nateur for ‘Love Like We Used To’. It’s a feel-good pop tune that we guarantee will get your feet tapping.

Scottish singer-songwriter Emeli Sandé will be on a promotional visit to Sydney mid-February, and just in time, she has a new single, ‘Highs and Lows’.

Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
