Monique’s Tides of Emotion

Monique diMattina spoke with David Moyle on Bent Notes about her latest album of solo piano works called TIDES.  An album of 10 beautiful meditative pieces that grew out of the months of lockdown in Melbourne.

Creating the pieces took place each evening between 9 and 10pm – Moniques’ personal time after the children went to bed.  Recording took place on a Yamaha C7X grand piano.

In addition to the audio recording Monique has made printed sheet music available for some of the pieces.

More details and the sheet music, Digital, CD and Vinyl albums available from Monique’s Bandcamp page.

Moniques’ launch of TIDES was recorded in March this year at the Australian Piano Warehouse in West Melbourne with Special Guest Tony Gould, and can be streamed for 30 days from August 31, 2021 with tickets available from trybooking.

Monique diMattina was guest of Bent Notes on Sunday August 29, 2021
