Kicking off our new music this week is Melbourne-based out-and-proud independent singer-songwriter Peter Wilson, with ‘Game of Love’, the fifth single from his Utopia album’.

UK synth-pop veterans the Pet Shop Boys are back with the second single, ‘Twenty Something’, from their 13th studio album.

British 23-year-old singer-songwriter Foxes hasn’t enjoyed too much success in Australia, but occasionally a song comes along we can’t resist and that’s happened with Amazing. Originally released at the end of last year as the third single from her second studio album, All I Need, the Cahill remix pushes it directly into JOY anthem candidacy.

Flo Rida has teamed up with label stablemate Jason Derulo. Their Hello Friday is a fun-to-be-had tongue-in-cheek toe-tapper.

Tobias Topic is a German DJ-producer and his current single has more than 10 million streams on Spotify and was the most played song on German radio last month. Home is set to be massive around the world.

Canadian producer Zedd performed with Kesha for his Coachella gigs, and ‘True Colors’ proved to be so popular they jumped into the studio. We now have the first new music from Kesha in more than two years.

American singer-songwriter-actress Selena Gomez has been kicking goals on the Australian charts recently, with her #13 single  ‘Hands to Myself’ and #10 single ‘Good for You’. We’re on board for Selena’s latest single from Revival, ‘Kill Em with Kindness’.

Justin Timberlake voices a number of characters in the upcoming Dreamworks movie Trolls, and has written and produced the title track as well. ‘Can’t Stop the Feeling’ is possibly this year’s ‘Happy’. We love it, and so will you.

Our hot pick of the week is a band from Boston called Timeflies. The duo, Cal Shapiro and Rob Resnick, are onto their second album with Sony Music, but Once in a While is the first time they’ve seen any exposure in Australia. We’re certainly hoping it won’t be the last.

Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the six at six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
