Highly successful JOY favourite P!nk kicks off our new music this week. She has teased us with just two single releases in the past two years, but we now have her new one, ‘What About Us’. This is the first single from her seventh studio album, Beautiful Trauma, which is due out later this year.

Swedish DJ-producers Sebastian Ingrosso and Axwell continue to create dance crossover tracks that make huge inroads in the European club scene and on the streaming services. Their latest single, ‘More Than You Know’, now has a radio-specific version to follow up the 137 million streams on Spotify so far.

French DJ-producer Kungs is looking for another hit to match his smash 2016 success, ‘This Girl’. Teaming up with English pop star Olly Murs and Belgian rapper Coely may just do it for him. ‘More Mess’ is funky, fun and uplifting, and we think you’ll love it.

Massively successful Swedish producer Avicii, who famously retired from all public DJ work in 2015 after suffering serious health issues, has returned to his roots as a music maker with a six-track EP, AVĪCI (01). The first single, ‘Without You’ featuring Sandro Cavazza, is sure to make his fans (including us) very happy.

Australian alt-pop band Tigertown gain a first-time addition to JOY’s weekday mix. Already with lots of support from Triple J, their latest single, ‘Warriors’, is leading to growing support for the band around the nation and overseas.

Perth-based 14-year-old singer-songwriter Ani-K continues to impress us. Her latest single, ‘Plan B’, is another excellent pop offering and a second addition for her to our weekday mix.

Set your alarm and tune into Michael on the Six at Six for the newest songs to the mix, every weekday at 6am Melbourne time.
