It’s time to catch up with the newest tunes to Melbourne’s most uplifting music mix.

In just a couple of weeks, Adam Lambert will be dropping VELVET: Side A. To tide us over until then, the out-and-proud American has delivered a funk powerhouse of a single in ‘Superpower’. With a chorus that’s bound to have you strutting, the song has a video that features Adam and his mates moving and grooving on the streets of Brooklyn. It’s made for JOY.

Brits Jonas Blue and HRVY have teamed up for a song that will take you back to your youth. ‘Younger’ has arrived just in time for the Aussie summer, and is sure to become a familiar tune as the days start to warm up.

Adrian Cardamone is a very talented DJ-producer who, in his 20s, has already featured on a slew of streaming playlists and across Australian radio. ‘For a Little’ is the follow-up to Carda‘s last release, ‘Caught Up’, and it has the right balance of guitar, beats and singalong melody to land on JOY. Singer SØPHIA lends her voice to the Melburnian’s newest.

Out-and-proud New Zealander Thomston has been sharing his musical talents since he released his debut album at the age of 18. In the six years since, the singer-songwriter has been to Los Angeles and London to hone his craft, and his music has been streamed over 80 million times. ‘Casual’ is the latest single to come from his forthcoming double EP, Los Angeles and London, due 18 October. This one burrows deep into the soul and will become an earworm without you even realising.

Having recently broken hearts around the world by declaring her love for Shawn Mendes, Camila Cabello shares a story about her broken heart. Describing ‘Liar’ and its partner single as both sides of a love story, the ex-Fifth Harmony singer provides a taste of what’s to come in her second studio album, Romance. Although we’ve chosen the brighter of the two singles to lift your workday, you’d be well advised to check out the dark and sultry Camila in the video for her other single, Shameless.

Local DJ-producer Tyron Hapi continues to create dance-pop tunes that are made for radio. The Melburnian has teamed up with Dutch singer Babet to release ‘Over’, and it’s bound to get you on your feet.
