It’s time to celebrate Melbourne being out of COVID lockdown with these amazing new tunes to the daytime line-up.

Sgt Slick has followed up his ABBA cover hit with a nod to disco. The Melbourne-based DJ-producer has dropped ‘The Night the Lights Went Out’, which samples The Trammps’ 1977 release ‘(The Night The Lights Went Out In) New York City’. It’ll get you boogieing in no time.

Sydney-based DJ-producer Tigerlily has continued to move between pop and dance in her latest. ‘Me, You & Tequila’ features AYDAN, who you might know better as Aydan Calafiore, the Melbourne-based singer who was in the top 4 of The Voice Australia in 2018. This one has a hook that will implant itself in your head.

Everyone loves a bit of Whitney Houston. The Gold Coast’s Bombs Away have shown just how much they love her in their newest. Putting their own spin on the classic 1985 hit ‘How Will I Know’, ‘Clouds Above’ has the brotherly DJ-production duo bringing all the feelgood parts of the song together in a new way. We reckon you’ll be digging this one.

American DJ-producer Marshmello has teamed up with an Eastern European producer for something new. Best known for his remix of Saint Jhn’s ‘Roses’, Kazakh DJ-producer Imanbek has helped to create ‘Too Much’. Usher provides added flavour for a song that we think you’ll want to jam to.

Funky, cool and catchy are excellent words to describe ‘West Coast’. The latest track from Canadian duo DVBBS, featuring American singer-songwriter Quinn XCII, is the type of upbeat, singalong gem that you’d expect to hear during your workday.

Out-and-proud American DJ-producers Matt Consola and Aaron Altemose have reworked Janice Robinson’s empowerment ballad, ‘Every Moment’, into a club banger. Featuring the vocals of San Fran’s Brenda Reed, this track is made for dancing to. To give it even more of a lift, we’ve gone with the Dirty Disco remix – we reckon you’ll appreciate it!
