In the QNN Sports Report, the first out pro-hockey player Luke Prokop gets a congratulatory call from Elton John,  FIFA has halved its punishment for Mexican soccer fans’ homophobic chanting, despite showing no signs of stopping, elite cyclist Clay Davies has come out as gay, but has slammed his sports lack of support for LGBTQIA+ riders, and team LGBTQIA+ is in 12th place in the Paralympics medal tally, tied with Iran.
