JOY’s Friday breakfast newsreader Andrew Rattle joined us to share 8 songs and the queerest possession he has, which he would take to the Queer Island.

Through Rattle’s powerful song choices, he spoke of grief, resilience and knowing he was special rather than different. We also covered his wanderlust and his obsession with, and stalking of, an American/Aussie legend.

Queer Island Discs is a bit like Desert Island Discs, except the island isn’t deserted; it’s full with an LGBTI+ population!
