Doug Pollard and Studio guests Cathy Anderson from MX Magazine, Corey Irlam, Scott Bradford, talk about the changing of the guard within the Liberal Party with Malcolm Turnbull taking the reins of the party. Also an update on the Ken Campgnolo case with discrimination within the AFL and associated minor football leagues. With the festivals in full swing the Rainbow Report team report on the Yackandandah festival and organizer Gary Haywood saying that the ABC report was not over he explains what’s going on.
The Rainbow Report team then focus the program on the newly elected Premier in WA. Brian Greg who was a former Senator Brian Greg reports from WA for an update of what might happen in that State when Parliament resumes. And then we travel to NSW for more of Clover Moore winning her seat and once again back in the Mayor’s chair Harley Dennett from Sydney Star Observer reports on the Council Elections. And Ms Kaye Sera returns and she puts her special view on the election of Malcolm Turnbull to the Liberal Leadership.
