Governed By Rock

News & Politics, Podcast, Society & Culture

Macca welcomed Bronwyn Pike to the studio as we had a look at the state of the US Senate, after the Republicans took control in the mid-term elections. Dr Damian Kingsbury was on hand to lend his expertise. Kris Schroeder shrugged off a very late night to chat about the policies of the Rock ‘N Roll party for the coming Victorian Election. Josh Fergeus from the Foster Carers Association of Victoria joined us to talk through the need for more foster carers, and the suitability of Lesbians and Gays as foster carers. Catherine from the Glamourhead Sharks took the Community Spotlight this week, sharing some information about their upcoming fundraiser.

After 11, Chris Browne dropped in to advise us how to be sensible with our dosh in the lead up to the festive season, and our Executive Producer Pete Dillon had the wonderful pleasure to sit down with actor and musician Guy Pearce. Emily Arundel popped in to share with us her venture, the Serotonin Kitchen and we covered off the big news in sport with ABC Grandstand presenter, Dan Lonergan.
