Sally Capp @SallyCapp_, Lord Mayor Melbourne wants to encourage everyone to shop at the Queen Victoria Market in the lead up to Christmas. Last year, 1.1 million people visited our two Christmas sites at Federation Square and Santa’s House outside Melbourne Town Hall. Melbourne City Council’s Pride Network has played an important role in staff feeling safe at work. The Pride Committee has grown from 5 to 9 people. The group is preparing to participate in the Midsumma Carnival (19 Jan) and Pride March (Sunday 2 February).
