The GLOBE Community Awards recognise the inspiring work in Victoria’s lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and intersex communities.

Each of our straight ally finalists has worked tirelessly to support and promote the LGBTI community and ensure that it is recognised and strong. These are the voices of those who support us, not because they have to, but because they know it is right. This years winner is Associate Professor Michelle Telfer.

GLOBE stands for Gay & Lesbian Organisation of Business & Enterprise and is Victoria’s professional, business, social and community networking organisation for the LGBTI community. Their aim is to further career and business opportunities in Victoria through networking, development and engagement with the broader community.
